CITRUS SUGAR: 1 Cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon grated lemon, lime and/or orange zest. In a small bowl combine ingredients, mix well. Serve, or keep in a sealed, airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 1 month. VANILLA SUGAR: 1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise. 1 cup granulated sugar. Place both halves of vanilla bean in tall jar, fill jar with sugar. Cover and let stand at least 24 hours for sugar to absorb vanilla flavor. Replenish sugar as you use it. Vanilla will continue to flavor sugar for up to 1 year.
